About us

As a church welfare association with around 1,100 full-time and volunteer employees, the Caritas Association Region Mönchengladbach e.V. is dedicated to a wide range of social tasks in the city of Mönchengladbach and its associated catchment area. The area of old age and care consists of five nursing homes with interspersed short-term care places, one solitary short-term care, four day care centres, two outpatient assisted living communities and a Caritas care service. As a nurse (m/f/d) at Caritasverband Region Mönchengladbach e.V., you will make a valuable contribution to the care and support of our residents. You will work at one of our locations in Mönchengladbach and ensure a high quality of life for the people entrusted to you. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation and documentation of basic and treatment care, taking into account individual needs.
  • Advice and support for residents and their relatives.
  • Working with doctors and therapists to ensure optimal care.
  • Participation in team meetings and continuous development of care processes.
  • Promotion of mobility and independence of the residents.
  • Implementation of our quality management.

Our requirements

We are looking for a dedicated nurse who works with heart and mind. You should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Completed three-year training as a nurse, nurse or geriatric nurse in.
  • Professional experience in nursing, ideally in a comparable environment.
  • Empathy and communication skills in dealing with residents and their relatives.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to work together in an interdisciplinary manner.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
  • Identification with the goals and values of the Caritas Association.
