Tasks
We are looking for a dedicated IT administrator in the backup area, for whom the concerns and problems of our users and customers are a matter close to our hearts. You have a high affinity for IT, a penchant for new and modern technologies and a certain creativity and willingness to experiment in problem solving. Are you very familiar with Veeam and Veritas when it comes to backup solutions?

– Processing of requirements in the area of backup, connection and configuration of various backup systems
– Responsibility for the design, implementation and optimization of backup strategies in customer projects
– Monitoring and ensuring the operation of the backup environment
– Implementation and coordination of new commissioning, expansions, maintenance, updates and troubleshooting in the backup environment
– Planning and further development of the backup infrastructure, project work and maintenance of system documentation
– Error analysis, including documentation
– Contact person for questions, evaluation and implementation of possible
solutions- Implementation of customer solutions in the backup environment, especially with Veritas and Veeam
qualifications
– Completed studies in the IT sector or vocational training (IT system electronics technician, IT specialist for system integration) with initial professional experience
– Required experience in the administration and operation of IT solutions from the manufacturers: VMWare, Dell Server, NetApp storage, Veeam backup and Microsoft Server
– Your way of working is characterized by independence, the ability to work in a team and a high willingness to
learn- Professional, solution-oriented approach to decision-makers is essential
– Certifications in ITIL, Veeam or NetApp are required (can be completed within the first 6 months)
– You have a confident appearance and are service-oriented
– Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
