Locum Interventional Radiologist – Primarily Procedures (Clinic Setting)

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist for ongoing locum coverage. The primary focus at these locations will be performing a range of interventional radiology procedures in an outpatient clinic setting, with some opportunity for diagnostic reading during downtime. There are no call responsibilities associated with this position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Primarily performing a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Interpreting general diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) during any downtime between procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the MediTech EMR system.
  • Collaborating effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and established clinical guidelines for outpatient IR procedures.

Primary Focus: Interventional Radiology procedures.

Diagnostic Reading: Some general diagnostic reading (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) may be required during downtime.

Coverage Type: Clinic Only (Outpatient) – No Call.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Radiology with Interventional Radiology fellowship training.
