Locum Tenens Opportunity Physician (Pathology) Athens, GA
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Pathologist for an exciting Locum Tenens assignment at a well-established hospital in Athens, Georgia. This is a long-term opportunity (minimum 6 months) starting July 1, 2025, with full travel and lodging covered.
Position Highlights:

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Call: Rotating every two weeks (blood bank, organ procurement, frozen sections)

Daily Volume: cases per pathologist

Group Size: 2 pathologists with full support (6 histotechs)

EMR: Epic Beaker

Trauma Level: Non-trauma facility
Requirements:

Board Certification REQUIRED

Active Georgia License REQUIRED

BLS Certification REQUIRED
