Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) offers an outstanding full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join a thriving practice in Plymouth, Indiana. This practice is located near the University of Notre Dame and is dedicated to providing high-quality outpatient care in a safety net clinic setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Provide care to a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment options.
- Engage in medical record keeping and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and coverage, responding to patient needs.
- Maintain membership in the medical staff as required.
- Adhere to ethical standards and organizational values in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine.
- Experience working with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Active Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- COVID vaccination required.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine required.
- Current Indiana medical license or the ability to obtain.
- BLS and ACLS certification may be required.
- DEA registration required.
