Saint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) offers an outstanding full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join a thriving practice in Plymouth, Indiana. This practice is located near the University of Notre Dame and is dedicated to providing high-quality outpatient care in a safety net clinic setting. Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Provide care to a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment options.
  • Engage in medical record keeping and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and coverage, responding to patient needs.
  • Maintain membership in the medical staff as required.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and organizational values in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine.
  • Experience working with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Active Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA registration (or willingness to obtain).
  • Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • COVID vaccination required.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine required.
  • Current Indiana medical license or the ability to obtain.
  • BLS and ACLS certification may be required.
  • DEA registration required.
