Saint Luke’s East is seeking a dedicated Clinical Resource Nurse to support our Medical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors on part-time night shifts. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency across units during off-hours.
Part-Time Nights
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the units.
- Serve as a positive, professional role model, demonstrating strong clinical leadership and sound decision-making skills.
- Act as a resource and mentor for staff, fostering an environment of collaboration, support, and continuous learning.
- Support departmental functions including staff scheduling, record maintenance, staff development, and the execution of special projects.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Assists the manager in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the patient care unit. Serves as a positive professional role model, exhibiting clinical leadership and decision-making skills. Acts as a resource for maintaining departmental records, scheduling, staff development and other special projects.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri (or compact license).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of recent acute care experience
