As soon as possible, the building authority, in the civil engineering team, is looking for a permanent full-time position as
Engineer in the field of wastewater technology (d/m/f).
from now on, unlimited
39 hours per week, EG 11 TVöD (VKA)

YOUR TASKS:
- Independent planning, control and implementation of construction, renovation and development measures in the municipal wastewater infrastructure, including project management and construction supervision
- Project management of internal and external engineering services (HOAI) including schedule, cost and quality control as well as award and billing management
- Development and updating of rehabilitation strategies and general drainage plans based on condition analyses and investment prioritization
- Development, maintenance and further development of the GIS-supported sewer register including data management as well as coordination and quality assurance of external specialist services
- Technical management of wastewater plants and special structures including organization of maintenance, repair and renewal
- Analysis and optimisation of pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants to improve operational safety, cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency
- Management of external service providers and maintenance companies including performance testing, quality control and fault management
- Expert advice to the administration and political committees as well as ensuring compliance with technical regulations, legal requirements and environmental/water protection requirements
YOUR PROFILE:
- A degree in civil or environmental engineering with specializations such as urban water management, wastewater technology, sewer network planning
The following are also required:
- Good knowledge of the required standards, laws and regulations, in particular: HOAI, VOB, VgV, UVgO as well as current DIN regulations & technical guidelines and general procurement law
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Kenntnisse mit GIS- bzw. CAD-Software
- gute Kenntnisse der Microsoft Office Produkt
