Job Description

We are seeking an Academic Coordinator to provide educational leadership and support for Circle Academy Rossville. This role is responsible for overseeing curriculum development, implementing student accommodations and interventions, coordinating assessment and data tracking, and ensuring program fidelity. The Academic Coordinator also provides supervision and guidance to school staff and may deliver direct instruction as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement academic and life skills curricula
  • Coordinate academic programming with school districts and agencies
  • Track and document progress on IEP goals and other assessments
  • Support a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to support student success
  • Supervise student teachers, interns, and (when qualified) instructional staff
  • Uphold agency standards and contribute to a safe, respectful school culture

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Education preferred
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • LBS1 endorsement preferred
  • Administrative License or Supervisory Endorsement strongly preferred
  • 35 years of experience working with students with emotional/behavioral challenges
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Occasional driving (CCH or personal vehicle)
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, and occasionally run or climb stairs

  • Competitive salary based on education and experience ($55,637 – $105,955 per year).
