Locums Radiologist in California, No Call
Bread-and-butter diagnostic radiology assignment near Sacramento with flexible shifts and fast credentialing.
Highlights
- No call or weekends required
- 30-day credentialing – temps granted
- Swing and day shifts available – pick your preference
Practice Setting
- On-site at two imaging centers and one hospital
- General diagnostic reads only – no Mammo or IR
- Fully staffed with Epic EMR, McKesson PACS, and PowerScribe
- Supportive radiology group and consistent workflows
Schedule
- Day shift: 8a-5p Swing shift: 3p-11p (Mon-Fri)
- Pick up 1-2 weeks per month
- 12p-9p weekend shifts also available
Cases and Procedures
- 80-125 reads/day depending on complexity
- Mix of CT, X-ray, US, OB, MSK, ER studies, and PET (preferred)
- Upper GI reads required (must provide case logs)
- No Mammo, no IR
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Radiology
- Active California license
- CA Fluoroscopy and X-ray Operator Permits required
- Must be able to perform upper GI studies
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
