Job Title: Locum Physician – Emergency Medicine

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
- Manage an average of 1.5 patients per hour with dedicated mid-level assistance during peak hours.
- Perform required procedures, including intubations, chest tubes, and critical care interventions.
- Utilize Meditech EMR efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable with all emergency scenarios including procedural sedation and airway management.
- Complete necessary documentation and follow established protocols for patient care.
- Participate in orientation and training as needed, particularly for shifts beyond 8 hours.
Qualifications:
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required).
- Minimum of 250 case logs in the last year.
- Must possess current PALS, ATLS, ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Dakota medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license is preferred.
- Must have current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
